Adventure Comes Naturally In Elliot Lake

ADVENTURE COMES NATURALLY IN ELLIOT LAKE!!

Elliot Lake is now home to Northern Ontario’s newest 18-hole championship golf course, Stone Ridge at Elliot Lake.  Designed by renowned golf course architect Ted Baker and built by Evan’s Golf, one of Canada’s premier golf course builders, this course is carved out of the Canadian Shield.  It features a huge rock escarpment, and is set alongside picturesque Ryan Lake and the vast northern Ontario wilderness.  The course opened July 23, 2005 to rave reviews.

The course is 6.801 yards in length and has truly been carved out of the Canadian Shield.  Golfers will delight in the breathtaking vistas of the rock escarpment, beautiful Ryan Lake and the beauty of Elliot Lake’s untouched forests.

The new clubhouse is the perfect place to relax after an exhilaration afternoon on the greens.  The screened-in veranda and patio both overlook the eighteen green and Ryan Lake.  With the addition of Executive Chef Jimmy Yee to the Stone Ridge clubhouse, visitors and residents alike can enjoy the scenic views and the delicious cuisine offered at the course.
